About Bibi

Bibi Sánchez is a musical theatre actress and singer-dancer with professional experience in both New York City and Mexico City. Most recently, she performed at Broadway’s New Amsterdam Theatre in the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Red Bucket Follies. Off-Broadway, she created the role of Hêlo in the original musical Barba at Pregones/PRTT under the direction of Luis Salgado, and appeared as Bárbara in Stay at The Vino Theatre. She is also a proud member of Wincey Co., a theatre company that brings educational musicals to schools and communities under the leadership of Wincey Terry Bryant, Arts Director of the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking.
Her credits in Mexico include Marty Maraschino in Grease (Teatro Xola), Pilar in Legally Blonde (Teatro de los Insurgentes), Swing/Cover Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show (Teatro FruFru), and Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors (Teatro del Parque).
Bibi is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City, where she trained in musical theatre, voice, and acting. She continues to refine her craft in dance styles such as theatre jazz, Fosse technique, and tap at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. In Mexico, she trained at Artestudio, studying under prominent theatre directors.
Deeply committed to truthful, character-driven performance, Bibi considers herself an actress first. With her cultural background, professional training, and passion for storytelling, she is dedicated to bringing authenticity, creativity, and heart to the New York theatre scene.
